In this 8-week community service program, dedicated, trained adult mentors offer hope, new direction, and changed attitudes for “at risk” youth referred to us from the court system, probation office, or family members. Classes meet from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
A faithful team meets at the Star of Hope Shelter for Women & Families (Dowling Street) every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. to minister to homeless women and children.
Youth, ages 8 – 21, receive leadership and mentoring skills that empower them to become “youth mentoring youth.” Skilled volunteers with a love for youth are invited to join at firstname.lastname@example.org. Classes meet from 6:45 – 9:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the Family Life Center.
Ministry Leaders carry the Gospel of Jesus Christ to men and women who are incarcerated within the Texas prison system. The services they provide include, Bible studies, personal ministry, worship services, and a women’s mentoring program with after care follow up when released from prison.
