Council of Ministries (COM)

Under the direct supervision of Christian Tabernacle’s Senior Pastor, the Council of Ministries (COM) was developed to connect and unify all ministries and leaders at C.T., while allowing them freedom to operate.

To empower and enable our leaders to become more effective, COM provides a forum for exchanging ideas and creating an environment where the spirit of unity can flourish. As a seven-member committee, we develop policies, promote spirituality, build community, and provide accountability for ministry leaders. Support will be offered in these areas:

• Problem solving
• Promote unity among leaders by inspiring an attitude of mutuality, trust, and cooperation.
• Offer ideas for outreach and recruiting new volunteers
• Conduct regular meetings to interview new ministry leaders and mediate problems and issues arising within established C.T. ministries
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Event / function planning
• Effective monthly leadership training
