Baptismal Team
Director: Quintin Ward
Those desiring to be baptized should fill out a form at the Info-Network counter. After every service (or by appointment), a trained team gives instruction before administering water baptism and then issues a certificate for this vital occasion.
Communion
Director: Percy Larkin
Trained attendants assist our pastoral staff by serving the communion elements during all services, six times a year.
Greeters
Directors: Sharon Trotter (7:30 a.m. Service), Laverne Ford & Ada Tucker (9:00 a.m. Service), Charlotte Jackson (10:10 a.m. Service), Theresa Powell (11:15 a.m. Service)
Members of this hospitality team offer a warm smile, a friendly greeting and a church bulletin to members and guests. Volunteers must arrive at post of duty 15 minutes before service begins.
Hospitality
Director: Connie Filkins
In a hospitable environment, refreshments and a few relaxing moments are provided for guest dignitaries and pastoral staff during all Sunday morning services.
C.T. Taxi Ministry
Director: Pastor Donnie Simpson
Via golf cart and van, transportation is provided between Sunday morning services for visiting speakers and members, especially during inclement weather.
Ushers
Director: Jeffery Hall
These “doorkeepers” of God’s House are trained to maintain order and provide a sense of security, collect offerings, distribute and collect prayer request cards, and to greet and seat our guests. Ushers are on duty each time our congregation gathers to worship.
