Celebrate Recovery

Directors: Mike and Peggy Lowery
A Christ-centered, 12-Step Program for Hurts, Habits, and Hang-ups invites both C.T. members and individuals in the community to meet each Friday at 6:30 p.m. in the Family Life Center.

Family of Faith


Director:  Percy Larkin

Provides hope and encouragement for residents at the Duke & Duchess Home Care facilities by ministering prayer, scripture reading, and serving communion.



Feed the Hungry

Director: Debbie Birmingham
Once a quarter, a large group of trained volunteers fill boxes with free food and then distributes to hundreds of needy families on our church property in a “Drive-thru Food Fair.” A second team collects and submits prayer requests to a loving God who cares for us.

Foreign Missions


Director: Connie Filkins

Because Christ gave His disciples a personal mandate to take the Gospel to “all the world,” if we cannot go in person. we must support those who will. Therefore, C.T. sponsors trusted and proven missionaries located on every continent. A different family is featured as we bring our offerings to God on the first Sunday of each month.

Global Force Young Adults


Director: Mathew Bismark

A ministry based on the Joshua generation is designed to dominate and reclaim authority, both in the spiritual and physical realm. Weekly Friday meetings are at 7:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary. Website: www.globalforce.cc



Heaven’s Touch Ministries


Directors: B. L. & Brenda George
Bringing a ‘touch of Heaven’ to homeless families, this team conducts a Sunday service once a quarter at the Star of Hope’s Family Unit located on Ardmore Street.

Juvenile Mentor Program


Director: Doris Wright

In this 8-week community service program, dedicated, trained adult mentors offer hope, new direction, and changed attitudes for “at risk” youth referred to us from the court system, probation office, or family members. Classes meet from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Psalm 115:1 Ministry

Director: Joshua Osime
A faithful team meets at the Star of Hope Shelter for Women & Families (Dowling Street) every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. to minister to homeless women and children.

Timothy Project


Directors:  Rodney & Carolyn Robinson
Youth, ages 8 – 21, receive leadership and mentoring skills that empower them to become “youth mentoring youth.” Skilled volunteers with a love for youth are invited to join at carann05@yahoo.com. Classes meet from 6:45 – 9:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the Family Life Center.
