Members Orientation

"Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God."
    (Ephesians 2:19)

How delighted we would be for you to become an official member of our vibrant, growing congregation! Although you could choose any of a hundred different churches, we hope you will be grafted into the body of Christ here at C.T.

The Members Orientation Class was designed for those who are ready to grow, to recognize the spiritual gifts God has given you, and to join a loving church family. Each of the six sessions will offer opportunities for increasing your knowledge of God and for linking with our congregation.

You will first be introduced to our pastoral and staff personnel, then hear the unusual history of C.T. You will learn all about the vision and purpose of our church and what it means to become part of our family. Various ministers will participate in teaching brief lessons describing what our church believes and practices.

Finally, you will be introduced to numerous ministry leaders to help you choose just the place where you belong. After discovering your own spiritual gifts, we’ll help equip you for the place that is most appealing to you. Ministry is where people begin to connect with their church family, deepen their relationships, and become more like Christ.

As the late Pastor Ron Willhoite so wisely stated, “Our vision is to help make a big place seem small.” We want to make you feel so loved and appreciated, you will fit right into our spiritual family.

If you are ready to join or would like to familiarize yourself with us once again, our next orientation begins at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, August 21, 2011, in the Fellowship Hall and concludes on Sunday, September 26th.
