Common Questions
Should you have inquiries or concerns that we have not covered, here are some answers to commonly asked questions.
What are your main services like?
Get ready for a treat! When you step inside any of our multiple week-end services, expect to feel the presence of Almighty God. According to your personal needs for that day, you may find the mood exhilarating, joyful, gentle, comforting, encouraging, or educational. Just remember that our worship leaders and musicians are not trained to entertain or perform, but to lead the congregation into the hallowed presence of our Lord and Savior.
You’ll instantly detect that our church family has diverse cultures and ethnicities—and that’s the way we love it! Our main desire is to lift our praises to Jesus and be touched by Him so that we can take His presence into our homes, places of employment, schools, shops, and community.
Our goal is to cultivate a people with such fervent love for God, it cannot help but spill over to everyone we meet. That’s why we do our best in each service to nurture an atmosphere of freedom, joy, and generosity.
The format of our services generally begins with joyful, meaningful worship and proceeds to corporate prayer, charitable giving, and preaching that could be dynamic, instructional, or inspirational. You may hear a message from our Senior Pastor in all four Sunday morning services, a visiting minister, or one of our Associate Pastors who never fail to bless our congregation in his absence.
What should I wear to worship services?
While we have no specific dress code for worship services, you will likely find our male pastors wearing a suit and tie or khakis with a pullover. Youth pastors are most often casual, with jeans and a sport shirt. As you have probably guessed, our focus is not upon what “he” or “she” is wearing today. Rather, our goal is to assist each other in worshipping God. So, we ask that you dress in a manner that contributes to corporate worship, rather than any type clothing that might be a distraction.
What do you have for our children?
You have just touched a hot button! Children and youth are of such great importance, we take great care in cultivating our young ones. Not only are they our future, they are vital treasures for us to mentor. Although our youngsters are actually "adults in training," we believe they learn more effectively through unconventional methods than would adults. For this reason, we have developed a variety of classes and programs. To “His Kids,” our message is essentially the same as to their parents, but in a simple, easy-to-understand format.
