Helping Hands & Extended Hands

This dynamic ministry demonstrates the love of Christ to the elderly and those with long term illnesses in C.T. and the North Channel community by providing light housework, meals, companionship, and transportation to the grocery store and doctor’s appointments (no medical services). A quarterly publication, “The Vessel” is the voice of the Women of Destiny. Featuring articles and stories of great interest, our ladies are updated about what’s happening at C.T. Printing costs are offset by advertisements of C.T. and community business owners.
Vessels of Wisdom (VOW) Ages 55 up
Director: Charlotte Patton
Senior ladies meet periodically to fellowship and discuss projects and issues that are of special concern during this stage of life. With a network of helpers, they spring into action when tragedy or national disasters occur. On the last Thursday of the month, all women are invited to a Bible study and potluck lunch at 10:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.
Vessels of Honor (VOH) Ages 35 – 54

We connect women, offer encouragement and support, pray and study God’s Word together, strengthen relationships, and enjoy fellowship. Special activities will be announced.
Vessels of Virtue (VOV) Ages 18 – 34
